I think people who truly appreciate the artistic value of a photograph are more likely to pay the extra money for what they get. I use to be of the opinion that people shooting for less were devaluing things as a whole, but I'm more inclined now to think that they are just catering to a different crowd. Great post. I always ask my couples to review my work, read the testimonials, read my online reviews, and then make their decision. Funny story, I have had a few brides call me after their wedding and ask me to "redo" their wedding photos with stagged and redone poses. Why? Because they went with another photographer who was cheaper. Buyer beware. Make sure you can spend your wedding day with your photographer. All the best wishes to the new brides and grooms to be!!!
